New MCANJ President Elected

Kevin T. Armistead was elected President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of New Jersey, Inc. (MCANJ), at the Annual Membership Meeting in June 2018.

He is the COO & Secretary/Treasurer of Armistead Mechanical, Inc., President of Armistead Mechanical Services, Inc. and President of Acorn Plumbing & Heating Inc.

Kevin became a Board of Directors member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of New Jersey in 2011 and a graduate of the MCAA Advanced Leadership Institute. He also serves on the MCANJ Finance, Legislative and Labor Policy Committees. At the national level, he is a member of the MCAA Government Affairs Committee and the Safety and Health Committee. In addition, Kevin is a Trustee for UA Local Union 274.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Vermont College and has more than thirty-five years of industry experience in management, estimating and purchasing. His expertise lies in plumbing, HVAC and process piping. Kevin is a member of the third generation managing the Armistead family’s successful 100-year old mechanical contracting business.

On a personal level, Kevin has been married to his wife, Susan, for more than 30 years and has three children. The couple has been active in many civic and charitable organizations in their community.
